Abbot and Most Rev. Bernardo Morales Biographical Information

Bernardo Morales  entered the minor seminary in  Ecuador, South America and continued his studies at the Pontifical Catholic University of San Gregorio, where he took his first philosophy courses which he continued at Arequipa, Perú.   He continued his  theological studies in Spain at the San Carlos Borromeo Seminary located in Málaga and in the San Juan de Dios in Madrid.  He completed his theological studies at the Saint Thomas Aquinas College in Sparhill, NY and went on to earn a Doctor of Ministry degree from Lake Charles Bible College in Lake Charles, Louisiana in 2005. 

On June 10th, 1986 Morales was ordained to the order of Deacon at the Tagaste Monastery located in NY and continued there until his Presbyter ordination on May 13, 1992.  He was consecrated to the Episcopal order at the Sts. Perpetua y Felicidad located in St Cloud, Florida on March 29th, 1998 by the Most Reverend Bishop David Strong, the Most Reverend

Bishop Morales serves today at the Holy Catholic and Apostolic Cathedral of Sts. Perpetua and Felicidad in St Cloud, Florida  and as the Abbot of the Subiaco monastery  Benedictines monks of the Divine Infant Jesus in that same city.  Bishop Morales ministry and that of the Order he leads are active in working for the Hispanic community of that region.
