Abbot and Most Rev. Terry Boyer Biographical Information
 

Terry Boyer has been active in pastoral ministry since retiring from the Air Force in 1991, first as a Roman Catholic Deacon and later as an Independent Catholic priest.  He was elected bishop in 2007 of the Independent Catholic Church of the West which holds an Associate Church relationship with the United Catholic Church.  He also serves as  the Abbott General for Benedictine communities located in Oregon, Arizona and Georgia. 

Bishop Boyer holds a MDiv from Concordia University, and is employed as the executive director of of a non-profit agency serving the chronically mentally ill in Oregon.
